4. What is the weather doing? If its dull and cloudy but the sun is due to be shining later and you can wait, then wait for the better weather and incorporate it in your photo and your advert.

5. Don’t let the potential buyer take the car for a test drive without you! (He/she is not insured without an insurance certificate)

6. If you are being paid by a bankers cheque, don’t hand over the car until the cheque has cleared.

7. If you are being paid in cash, always cheque for forgeries!

8. Conduct the business in the car and not in your house where possible.
